Two countries come into my mind, Saudi Arabie and Israel (wouldnt mention the Vatican as a country). Each one of those represent a religion.
As I was discussing with a friend that day about such countries it came to our mind that such countries should not exist, as religion can then be poluted if mixed with politics.
One example of what may hapen when a country builds itself on religion basis is Israel bringing jews from all over the world, paying them just to live there and belong, as if belonging can be bought and sold !! (some say it can).
Another example is Saudi Arabia when it becomes the symbol of Islam, and any mistake they do (like Bin Laden) is considered to be the mistake of the religion.
Religion is simply the special relation between Human and her/his God, a private relation that should not be published, privatly practiced and surely not mixed with the dirty politics governing our world today.

Liqaa' is back, "good" news
I have been reading for the last week the news about the kidnapped baby " Liqaa' ". I was really happy to know that the police department is that capable to solve such issue in a couple of days. Reading Alrai Newspaper makes me feel that our police is efficient, it gives me always a feeling of safety, on the other hand it gives me an idea that their reporters are strange.
The strange report I read this morning says that the kidnapper have had two marraiges in her life, where she had no children from the second marraige because she was taking contraceptive pills...... what on earth made this reporter think that I (the reader) need to know this strange piece of information?!!

National anthems
This is not a subject to start a blog with, anyway I feel this is the reason I am starting this blog for.
It always bothers me when I compare; when I listen to the German, the Greek, or the American national anthems I hear sentences about the freedom that is contained in the bones, the liberty that is worth every soul, and the brotherhood that will build the country. I have always wondered why I dont have such a National Anthem. In Jordan we have only a "Royal Anthem = السلام الملكي" which starts with " Long live the King!" and which is not bad because it shows our love to the leader, but why in addition to that we dont have a national anthem that shows our love to Jordan? I think this would be a good idea, wouldnt it?
